Meet Our Addiction Specialists
Bringing compassion, skill, and knowledge to your recovery.
Fred Von Stieff, M.D., M.B.A.
Your addiction medicine physician in Concord.
Caring For All Your Needs
Dr. Von Stieff uses a holistic approach to addiction recovery. Through his research and 25 years of experience, he has identified the need to prioritize your physical and emotional needs. By using a medical model, your caring doctor shows how addiction is a disease and not something you should be blamed for.
As part of his approach, Dr. Von Stieff will ensure you are comfortable and will get to know you as an individual. He loves to show his fun side too and keeps his patients in good spirits.
Over his career, he has become famed for his pioneering treatments, highlighting how addiction can be corrected by “balancing your brain.” This method refers to caring for the mental side of addiction, not just trying to cater for the physical implications.
In fact, he knows so much about this subject he wrote a book about it.
Kristi Carpenter, D.O., M.B.A.
With you every step of the way.
Treating the Whole Person
Dr. Kristi Carpenter views it as a privilege to work with patients of all backgrounds and ages. As an experienced family and addiction physician, she cares for you and your affected family members. Dr. Carpenter understands the impact your family can have on your journey to recovery, so she sets time aside to discuss their needs and concerns too. She makes them feel part of our team and part of our family.
Speaking of family, she follows in her father’s footsteps (Dr. Von Stieff) by treating the whole person and making sure you have all the information you need. Dr. Carpenter feels it is vital for you to feel comfortable and in a place of trust, so she builds up that rapport before starting any treatment.
When you are ready to start your recovery, our compassionate doctor will do all she can to help you achieve your goal.
“Dr. Von Stieff should be congratulated for his work in this field.”
